ENGLISH UPDATE #2
Hi there friends,
I said I was going to post in English more often, so here I am! I am quite aware than my English posting frequency is not so high that I can say I do it often, but well… I am going through busy days lately.
Our recording sessions are almost over. Raúl, our bass player and producer is back from Argentina tomorrow (he has been doing some sound engineering stuff over there…) so I guess we’re ending the vocal work within the next few days and then we’ll be ready to mix. And that will be another big Issue, we’ll see what happens.
Anyway we’re glad things are getting restarted around the band. A new record is always good to let the word out about the band’s comeback and we are back on track. Now we are five musicians on stage; we have recruited a fifth musician to give us a hand taking every recorded sound out to live performing, so now we have one more electric guitar, or an acoustic, or keyboards and synths depending on what the song demands. Now we sound bigger, and way much better than when we were four lads on stage. We have already played once with the new crew and, in fact, it was amazing… and a new chance to perform live comes our way next Thursday. We’ll be in Madrid, at a new venue called Penélope! We are just looking forward to it! The gig is also the “warm up” party for our new record label, CUAC! Música. That same day, in the afternoon we are being interviewed in the most important indie radio show in Spain, Disco Grande, Radio3 by Julio Ruiz!!! and we are playing a couple of new acoustic songs live as well (Download the podcast from HERE by Friday the 27th if you wish!)
So, hopefully we are in the beginning of the new season for The Baltic Sea. Keep showing up, you faraway lands visitors!
